Technava is now a LanoPro Reseller/Distributor in Greece
LanoPro are delighted to announce that Technava S.A. of Piraeus, Greece have partnered with LanoPro as a reseller/distributor.
Greece is home to 100’s of shipowners, with almost 20% of the world’s tonnage controlled from the country. Athens is also one of the largest global ship-owning clusters, the recently signed partnership allows LanoPro a broader and deeper access to this strategically important market.
Technava S.A were founded almost half a century ago by Byron Tomazos and is now headed by his daughter Stella, who is managing director of the company. Based in Piraeus Technava sails on a crew of 90 highly skilled individuals including marine, chemical, mechanical and electrical engineers. Like LanoPro they set customer satisfaction as a primary goal and the partnership will strengthen LanoPro’s existing resources and capabilities in the strategically important market.
LanoPro’s move is an important stepping stone to supply Environmentally Acceptable and conventional lubricants to this large shipowning community, where local knowledge, trust and relationships are key success factors. Stocking of the supply point will commence in September, which will allow Technava and LanoPro to develop sales in this key tanker and bulk carrier market for existing vessels and new-buildings.
Further strategically located resellers are due to be announced in the coming months as fast expanding LanoPro develop their supply network and range of products and services.
