The specialist marine and offshore lubricants supplier, LanoPro Production AS and Teekay Tankers Ltd., have continued their close co-operation by extending their supply agreement until 2021.
The agreement, signed in April 2018, commits the partners to supply and receive LanoPro’s range of Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EALs). Teekay Tankers is the world’s largest operator of mid-sized tankers.
Under the supply agreement, Teekay has access to the full EAL and conventional product range delivered from LanoPro’s worldwide supply hub network. Access to fast growing LanoPro’s dedicated order capture team and technical support continues, with fast delivery and response times a factor in the contract renewal. The high quality of the products is also an important factor for Teekay.

The arrangement is understood to be mutually rewarding; Teekay have guaranteed compliance for US EPA VGP regulations, plus superb products that dovetail with their environmental policy of being committed to protecting the global environment. Additionally, LanoPro’s recent award of EU Eco Label is assisting shipowners meet CSR targets and aligns with LanoPro’s “Keep our Seas Clean in 2018” campaign.

EAL lubrication needs are taken care of, plus maintenance and ordering processes simplified.
